SoundEar® 4-400

Discreet, Accurate Noise Monitoring for Hospitals, Offices and Public Spaces.

*When ordering in bulk, please contact us for bulk pricing.

The SoundEar® 4-400 helps staff see noise levels as they happen, creating the foundation for a quieter, calmer environment for patients, residents, students and workers alike. The illuminated ear symbol shifts from green to amber to red as levels rise, giving people an immediate, wordless prompt to lower their voices or change what they are doing. No alarms, no announcements, just a visual cue that works in the environments where a loud warning would defeat the purpose.

Built for continuous background monitoring rather than heavy industry, the 4-400 measures LAF, LAS and LCpeak simultaneously alongside LAeq at 1 second, 15 minute and 1 hour intervals, with 0.1 dB resolution across a 30 dB to 120 dB range. Integrated WiFi sends data straight to the SoundEar Cloud, so you can receive email alerts when levels pass your set threshold and automated noise reports for analysis and compliance.

IMPORTANT: The SoundEar® 4-400 is a dedicated network model and does not operate in stand-alone mode. It requires a WiFi connection to function, and units require additional programming and configuration. We will need to touch base with you to go through the finer details of your network setup and requirements.

Designed and tested to the medical electrical equipment standards IEC 60601-1 and 60601-1-2, making it suitable for use in wards, critical care and other clinical settings.
